The British American Business Council Pittsburgh Region (BABC) and the Risk Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) invite you to attend a luncheon presentation on Thursday, June 26 from 12:30pm - 2:00PM at the Sheraton Station Square featuring Lord Peter Levene, Chairman of Lloyd’s of London.
This will be his first visit to Pittsburgh where he will address the Changing Risk Environment for Global Business.
Covering issues such as climate change, the credit crunch and global political instability, this is an exciting opportunity to meet the chairman of the world’s leading specialist insurance institution and hear more about what some of the world’s most forward-looking companies are doing to understand and manage risk.

Lord Peter Levene was elected as Lloyd’s Chairman in November 2002.
He spent 20 years in the UK Defence Industry before being asked to take on the Permanent Secretary post of Chief of Defence Procurement in the Ministry of Defence. Subsequently, he held a number of Government posts and was Adviser to the British Prime Minister on Efficiency and Effectiveness from 1992 to 1997.
Before joining Lloyd’s, Lord Peter Levene served as Vice Chairman of Deutsche Bank, having previously been Chairman of Bankers Trust International and Senior Adviser at Morgan Stanley.
Amongst other posts, he is presently a member of the Board of energy giant TOTAL SA as well as China Construction Bank.
Lord Peter Levene served as Lord Mayor of London for the year 1998/99. He received a knighthood in 1989 and became a life Peer in 1997.
